FRISCO, Texas (TXAN 24) - The Dallas Pulse have achieved something only three Major League American professional sports teams in history have been able to do, which is, make it to the Championship game in their inaugural season.

Dallas-Ft. Worth is home to one of the nation's largest and most passionate volleyball communities and is home to six other Major League American professional sports teams. (Mavericks, Cowboys, Stars, Wings, Rangers and FC Dallas)

Dallas Pulse won a remarkable twenty games this season to notch the second overall, missing the top seed by only three games. A season led by Mimi Colyer and Sofia Maldonaldo Diaz who were both named First Team All-MLV.

Dallas advanced behind strong offensive play and disciplined defense, overcoming a tough challenge to punch its ticket to the league title match. Players and coaches celebrated the milestone after the final whistle, calling it a historic moment for the franchise.

The Pulse have emerged as one of the top teams in MLV this season, drawing increased attention to professional volleyball across Texas. Fans packed the arena for the semifinal matchup, creating an electric atmosphere as Dallas closed out the win.

The championship appearance marks another major achievement for the organization during a breakout year for the sport.

Dallas will now prepare for the MLV Championship match with hopes of bringing home the league title.
