FAIRFIELD, Texas (TXAN 24) — The #8 Fairfield Lady Eagles delivered a dominant performance, overwhelming Mexia by 71 points to secure their 25th win of the season and continue their strong postseason push.

Fairfield, the defending 3A champions in their division, controlled the game from the opening tip and never let up, showcasing the depth and intensity that fueled last year’s title run.

Blayke Brackens led the way for the Lady Eagles, setting the tone offensively and anchoring a relentless effort on both ends of the floor.

With momentum firmly on their side, Fairfield continues to look every bit like a championship contender once again.
