TYLER, Texas (TXAN 24) — The ETX Belt Boyz 7-on-7 program closed out the fall with a strong show of momentum, hosting their official signing day and introducing a roster they believe can make noise on the state circuit this spring.
Coaches, parents, and players gathered to lock in commitments for the 2026 season, marking another step forward for a growing East Texas football brand that’s been steadily expanding its reach.
The team wasted no time getting to work. Their first practice was held on December 1, giving the Belt Boyz a full month to build chemistry, iron out schemes, and establish their relationships.

Their first test arrives quickly. ETX heads to Keller on January 3 for Texas Elite 7on7 Football’s 2026 Kickoff Classic, one of the largest early-season tournaments in the region.
The event typically draws powerhouse programs from across the state, offering a sharp measuring stick for teams looking to establish themselves early.
For the Belt Boyz, the trip marks more than just the start of the schedule—it’s an opportunity to show that East Texas talent continues to rise on the statewide stage.
With a roster locked in, the culture set, and expectations rising, the program enters 2026 with confidence and plenty to prove.
